Illinois Girls Baseball and Perfect Catch proudly have multiple program alumni who have found great success at the next level. With program alumni competing for their national teams and being selected to training camps, coaching professionally, playing collegiately, drafted and signed to play professionally, we couldn't be prouder of how they represent Illinois Girls Baseball and Chicago Perfect Catch.

Illinois Girls Baseball and Perfect Catch proudly have multiple program alumni drafted by and competing for teams the inaugural season of the Women's Professional Baseball League.

Los Angeles Queens

Amira Hondras

Amira Hondras, drafted Round 4, Pick 11 by the Los Angeles Queens, is from Chicago, IL and has been playing with Illinois Girls Baseball since 2019. She represented the US Women's National baseball team and competed at the WBSC World Cup Group Stage in Rockford, IL this summer. Amira has competed with PC at Baseball For All Nationals, Roy Hobbs, the Diamond Classic, and participated in clinics both as a player and coach. Amira is signed and had the game-tying RBI in the 7th inning of the Queens' 10-8 comeback victory against the New York Heights in the WPBL's inaugural game.

Boston Hunters

Gigi Schiano

Gisella "Gigi" Schiano was drafted Round 3, Pick 4 by the Boston Hunters. The Berrysburg, PA native is the first woman to play at Rosemont College. The RHP has played for the 18U and women's Perfect Catch Teams at Baseball For All Nationals and other women's tournaments. Gigi also coached the 14U and 18U teams at the 2026 Baseball For All Nationals in Rockford, IL. Gigi debuted in the Hunters' season opener against the Firebells, pitching in the 7th inning and striking out a batter.

Los Angeles Queens

Isabella Villarreal

Bella Villarreal, a Newport, MI native, was drafted Round 5, Pick 2 by the Los Angeles Queens. Bella plays 2B and has competed for the 18U and women's Perfect Catch Teams at Baseball For All Nationals and other women's tournaments. Bella also coached the 14U and 18U teams at the 2026 Baseball For All Nationals in Rockford, IL. Bella is signed and made her season debut with a go-ahead pinch-hit 2-RBI double, sealing the Queens' victory in the WPBL's inaugural game.

San Francisco Firebells

Skylar Kaplan

Skylar Kaplan, drafted Round 3, Pick 16 by the San Francisco Firebells, competed in the inaugural 2015 Baseball For All Nationals tournament. She was part of the first team that inspired the foundation of Illinois Girls Baseball, the American Eagles. The Glen Burnie, MD native plays outfield and pitches. Skylar played both collegiate baseball and basketball for St Mary's College of Maryland. The Glen Burnie, MD native plays outfield and. Chesapeake Girls Baseball named a tournament in her honor, the Skylar Kaplan Pioneer Series. Prior to Saint Mary's, Skylar competed at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Md. She made the Riverhawks baseball roster, becoming the only woman to pitch in the National Junior College Athletic Association. Skylar is signed and made her season debut in the Firebells' opener.

Boston Hunters

Olivia Bricker

Olivia Bricker was drafted Round 5, Pick 20 by the Boston Hunters and is signed. The Cincinnati, OH native competed for Chicago Perfect Catch at the 2025 Roy Hobbs tournament and the 2026 Diamond Classic (despite the rainout). Olivia has also coached at several MLB-USA Baseball, Little League, and Baseball For All events, including the Maria Pepe Legacy Series, BFA Nationals, and the Breakthrough Series. She is dedicated to growing the game of baseball, and has expanded the sport in the Cincinnati and greater Miami Valley regions in partnership with the Miami Valley Valkyries.

Los Angeles Queens

Abby Moore

Abigail "Abby" Moore, drafted Round 6, Pick 10 by the New York Heights, is from Arlington, TX. The catcher competed for Chicago Perfect Catch at the 2025 Roy Hobbs tournament and the 2026 Diamond Classic (despite the rainout). She also competed for the 18U PC team at the 2025 Baseball For All Nationals tournament in Reno, NV. Abby is committed to play collegiate softball at Missouri University of Science & Technology.

Los Angeles Queens

Addisyn Baird

Addisyn Baird, from Granger, IN, was drafted Round 6, Pick 19 by the Los Angeles Queens. Addisyn is a switch-hitting shortstop, and has competed for Chicago Perfect Catch at the 2025 Roy Hobbs tournament. She also competed for the 18U PC team at the 2025 Baseball For All Nationals tournament in Reno, NV.

New York Heights

Angela Valenzuela

Angela "Angie" Valenzuela was drafted Round 5, Pick 14 by the New York Heights. The Phoenix, AZ native represented team Mexico at the 2026 WBSC World Cup Group Stage in Rockford, IL. The right-handed pitcher competed for Chicago Perfect Catch at the 2025 Roy Hobbs tournament and the 2026 Diamond Classic (despite the rainout). She also competed for the 18U PC team at the 2025 Baseball For All Nationals tournament in Reno, NV.

Boston Hunters

Lexi Hastings

Alexis "Lexi" Hastings was drafted Round 1, Pick 20 by the Boston Hunters. She competed for Chicago Perfect Catch at the 2025 Roy Hobbs tournament and the 2026 Diamond Classic (despite the rainout). The outfielder, originally a softball player who played at UConn for 4 years on the varsity team and 1 year on the club team, is now signed and playing professionally both in softball for Kansas City Diamonds in the Professional Softball League and for the Boston Hunters in the WPBL.
